    Today Show's ​​Dylan Dreyer Announces New Children's Book She's 'Most Proud Of'

    Today Show hosts celebrated meteorologist ​​Dylan Dreyer’s exciting announcement during the morning show Monday, Jan.

    Through rain and shine, the children’s author and mother of three continues her Misty The Cloud series with her newest weather-inspired flap book addition A Peek Out Your Window: My First Book of Weather. 

    “This is like the one I’m most proud of,” the New York Times bestselling author announced to her cohosts on themorning show.

    “Because when I first started here, Al, what do you say? Here’s what’s happening in your neck of the woods. I had to come up with a phrase,”  Dreyer explained.

    Dreyer, who has three boys — Calvin, 7, Oliver, 5, and Rusty 2 — with her husband Brian Fichera, said the inspiration for her newest release came close to home.

    “What do [kids] love more than anything is a lift-the-flap book?” the author said.

    “What perfect flap to lift than like a curtain and something covering a window.”
